This event has been CANCELED due to the storm.

All -

We have secured a Saturday Tech Session with Intrigue Detail on April 18, 2009 at 10am. Nick from Detailer's Paradise recommended these guys for a detail day.

Please post up if you are planning on coming as I will need to supply a number to them for snacks etc.

More exact details will be posted as we get closer. Overall this is primarily a general detailing and maintenance session, but if there is anything you feel would be important to cover we can ask them to cover it.

Hope you can make it, it should be a good time and get us educated and ready for the show season.

Saturday April 18 at 10am

That could be cool. I have been thinking about trying to help my red CQ out.

Is there a cost?  if so how much?

Also, this is an instructional or do we need to bring our vehicle to detail while we're there?

Basically I am very interested, just need to know about $$

Bring yourself, bring your car if you'd like. I am just waiting on the final details, but I got confirmation on the date. I believe they will demonstrate on our cars if so desired. If you ever went to a detail tech session at detailer's paradise I would expect this to be similar.

Basically, they teach you how to detail and maintain your look while demonstrating the products they sell. They sell the line of products from DP so it's good stuff. The session should be free

I understand some folks are already super detailers, but others are wanting to learn more or just to get an overall idea on how to make their car look shiny and new again.

You can see some high level details about the tech sessions at the following URL:

I'll definitely be there! Justin and Aaron are great guys and amazing detailers. I've had the chance to some of their work and perfection is an understatement.

Jay thanks for putting this together.  I'll have to bring the van or Christy's beetle since both have a few scratches I like to learn how to clean up better.  This is assuming baseball coaching responsibilities don't interfere!

Just over a month a way, a little reminder for those planning on coming. For those unaware, check it out and chime in if you are interested so I can get a head count over to the shop as we get closer.

I move into my new house that weekend, but I still plan on being there, although, without the MINI as it is in storage and will stay there until I get the garage all set up and finished/painted.

I'm definitely interested, still a bit far out to definitely commit.  Work/school are keeping me on my toes these days...

Excellent! I am planning on sending them over the expected numbers in a few days as I will be mostly unavailable until the detail day.
