Got this off the Vortex site...it's from the GTI International 2004. I don't really care about the cabby, though it is nice...Check out the red Passat in the background (upper left)...WOW! 8O I want one! :drool: :drool:

come to think of it i do not recall ever seeing a red passat? seen the maroon ones, but that is as close to red as i remeber...

was there ever a true red passat?

Not in the US.  I wonder if it is a Euro spec, like brought over or something.

Yep, Passats come in Tornado Red Europe.. that's also the reason for the Euro trim. GTI International was held in England...so I'm sure there were a bunch of these there. We'd be hard pressed to find one of those in the US though.
