Big Props to StarlightB5... CPP Arms Installed
« on: June 04, 2004, 11:53:05 PM »
Thanks to Dave and everything.

I was able to pick up his upper control arms and make they work on my Passat.  I got the box this afternoon, along with a shipment of front sway bar links from ECS.  So, I got home this afternoon and began.  I was able to get one side done before losing bolts under the battery tray.  With taking stuff out such as compressor, impact gun, etc... it took me about 2.5 hours to do the passenger side.  The drivers side will be much easier.  Ill have pictures up tomorrow afternoon once Im all done.

Again, thanks to Dave.

I am glad everything got there in one piece.  Make sure you get the locking nuts tight on the arms and get the alignment done as soon as possible.  Please update with pics when you are done.
If it ain't broke, take it apart and fix it!

Nothing special, just the nuts that screw up to the ends need to be tight.  This all should be taken care of when you get the alignment done.

Looks great Steve!  I didn't realize we were suspension brothers.  I have the KWs also.  How do you like them?

Even though they are stiff, I really like mine.

I like mine, they could be a little more comfortable but they are ok for right now.  I would have prefered the V2's but money wasnt available to afford them.
