That's awesome... speaking of which, Pat? Could you post that list of Denver area fuel stations that do 93 Octane? I'd rather do a full on test and boost from there than plain 'ole 91.

I plan on mixing about half 91 and half 100 for track day.

There is also a lil tiny corner store / gas station in Hygiene that sells 93 octane, just found it about a month or so ago.  If you know where Hygiene is, you can't miss it, cause I think it is the only corner in the town with stop signs ;)

Hygiene has more than 1 corner?

LOL well.... I think if you follow the road down through Hygiene, "technically" there are a few corners ;)

For those who are not going to seek out the 93 here are some quick formulas:

Formulations:

16 Gallons  - Total capacity of tank (3 gallons always in tank) 13 left

Toluene 114 is octane

(12.5*91) + (.5*114) / 16 = 91.7 :-)

(12.0*91) + (1*114) / 16 = 92.4 :)

(11.5*91) + (1.5*114) / 16 = 93.1 :-D

(11.0*91) + (2*114) / 16 = 93.9 :D

**THESE ARE CALCULATED ACCOUNTING FOR THE 3 GALLONS IN THE TANK**

So Randy,

A train leaves Denver heading to Chicago at 7pm. Over the 1011 mile journey it has an average speed of 80 mph. What time does it arrive in Chicago?

Looks like that link is Kaput, so everyone post the places that they know of that carry 93 Octane and above.

Here you go suckas:

Colorado Sportbike Club - High-Octane Pumps

As far as i know, only place near us that does 93 octane is Petro Stop in Aurora/Centennial that does 93.5 or something whacky. It's at Parker and Quincy - can't miss it.

So all the paids so far is who will be driving ? I was wondering because there are a couple people I know through work that might be interested in driving the track.  Do we want more people ? I have talked to at least 2 other people that showed interest (and one of them had at least 1 friend who may be interested in track day).  And if we want as many people as possible, I know of 2 others that I could ask...

If you think they would be fun to have, go for it.  All the people I've received payment from are listed on the original post.  I'm sure there will be others there not driving, but I haven't been keeping track of them.

Talked to a couple people today, one person is the husband of one of my patients, and she said he is out of town but sounded very interested on the phone (he is out of town at some kinda race in NE and needs to check to see if he can get this day off).  Other guy bought his a wife a Viper a few months ago, and he would like to do it, but has to talk to the boss (since the car is technically hers!).  Will let ya know when they get back to me.

Everyone have a helmet!  I will have 2 canopies for shade, but we need to have chairs, everyone should have a helmet, water, and anything else you think you may want.

Last year, we ordered pizza and had it delivered, so we may do the same thing again this year.

Errrrrr, guess I have not had very much good luck lately, but the Winning Edge Performance gas station in Loveland has been sold, and from what the previous owner told me, the new owner does not plan on carrying the race gas

I have talked to a couple people about the track day, both seem very interested, should I have them bring the money to the track that day ?  Or have them pay in advance also, both are trustworthy and will have no problem with the money situation..  Told them it would be around $100, but since there are already more than 20 people paid, that it would be slightly less than that.  Let me know what you want me to tell them, sounds like 1 of them is a for sure thing (weather permitting) and the other is very interested in trying his wife's new toy at the track.

for those that paid after the July 31st date, there will be no refund...it will be a flat $100 per driver.  One of the perks for those that made the early payment deadline....Early bird gets the worm, so to speak.

Yep this is true.  Since we had to pay the money up front, this is our way of thanking the people that got it in early for us to be able to do this.

Petro stop...corner of parker and quincy...93.5 octane, it's the last pump by where the motorhomes have to go.  it's usually the same price as premium too.
