you guys are gonna kill me, but the kid I am working with at the hospital, well, they started his myelo-ablative chemotherapy a day early, and has finished his total body irradiation, which means that he must have his transplant on Wednesday...related to timing in the protocols.  I am scheduled for his transplant, which was supposed to be Thursday, but since they have him ahead of schedule, I have to go in on Wednesday for  the transplant.

sorry about that.

Let me check my schedule, this transplant got me a little screwed up and I am trying to reorganize my week...I have some appointments i need to keep...if I can get them rescheduled for monday and Tuesday, I will get it done...not sure why I thought it was Wednesday, becuase of that, I have 3 things I need to move for thursday, if I can.

man, I think I need a personal assistant to help me along with my alsheimers or something...sheesh.  I get so confused these days.

I know one of the days I will be in the Springs, either Monday or Tuesday, but not sure which....

I'll definately be there.  Even took the bike to the track today to get in some good corner time so I am ready for the ride.     :onfire:

Hopefully at least Jon will re-arrange his schedule to be able to join us.

Are you taking the bike? Or the car? It'd be funny if it was only the two of us. I'll attempt to keep up

Well, can't make thursday, this week got all FUBAR on me.  Sorry about that guys....I will be in town on thursday, but won't have the entire day to do a long drive like that.  I can spare a couple of hours in the morning, or a few in early afternoon, but I have lunch time appointments and early evening stuff with work now.

I am taking the bike.  I need a good long ride, and I'll take it easy so you can keep up.  I'm still going even if it is just the 2 of us.

As for Jon - [shakes head] - sorry you can't join us.

I'm down. I should be chipped by Thursday...if I get my ECU back in time, so it should be a nice break-in time.
...well, maybe I won't be. I just called 'em and they want to take thier sweet little time

Actually, I may have a little problem, I realized that after I played paintball, I lost my glasses. I can't see so well now. I mean, I can see enough to drive, but don't really think I can see so well as to take up "spirited" driving.

This sucks. Hmm.....I really, really want to go drive. It's been a while since I've hit some roads at speed...

that may just be OK, this is starting to look bad for me too.  There is some chance I'd have to skip the bike, take the car and bring the kid too. Hmmm.

Time to change the title of the thread to "it's not on"
or "its been rescheduled"?

I think rescheduled would be good.  I can go in the morning for a little drive, but need to be back here around 1230 for an appointment.

also, I will be in Steamboat Springs from Oct 12-18, if anyone wants to drive up there and cruise around, trees will be in prime turning colors then...

OK, so maybe we make this a shorter slower morning drive.  Up the winding road from morrison to kitteredge, breakfast in kitterage, then if time allows up evans, otherwise on to home?

that and reschedule the longer drive.
