Damn pat... I Read the letter, that sucks. So what set up did you have at the track... the Eurospec one. And did you have a dual mass, or a single mass flywheel put in. Caz i got that Fidanza aluminum light waight single mass flywhell and it makes a little ratling sound sometimes...In my opinion it's normal caz the flywheel don't kill the vibrations from the engine as well. You know what though with that new set up i can smoke my friends moded Integra GSR VTEC even at high speeds(that's where he could smoke me really easy). But anyways...sorry.. So you not gonna go to court with SPEC... but somebody did say at the AW that even if you do i'tll might get you only enough to pay your lawer.

Pat, really sorry to see that you didn't make out well with this package. I know that I recommended them, and now finding the same things as you, Ive found that putting up with the noise is unbearable. I'm broke as it is, and I cant afford to have new parts installed. Maybe once I land a decent dealer/shop job, I can bring the car in and do my own work. But to be honest with you, I think Im going to end up replacing it with something other then a Spec unit.
The lines that are on the inside of the fingers on the pressure plate, I have the same exactly wear. On the springs, there were wear issues as well. I'm going to see if I can possibly get the OE dual mass flywheel resurfaced somewhere and then get a new clutch disc and pressure plate from another company. If you can give me some contact info as to where you got your new parts, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks,

Sorry to hear about that Pat. I can't tell you how angry it makes me that people will not own up to thier mistakes and run their establishements with integrity and customer courteousy. Bastards.
I would be very interested to know what set-up you go with next as I know that eventually I'll have to replace my clutch.

So Pat, did you ever hear back from SPEC? I saw that your post indicated that they never responded to you.
I would recommend you post this over at CB5 too! Please!
