Club Sticker?

I know a girl here in

town who has her own custom vinyl graphics company.  What do you guys think about having her make up some (small) stickers for us Rocky Mtn

B5-ers?  Maybe something small like the clubb5.com stickers Winston has on his side rear windows?

Any of you photoshop wizards wanna come up with a design for us?

Oh and BTW, with this post I tie Jon for the #1 post whore spot!  :D

here are some variations of a small

sticker that maybe we could make up for our rides. Let me know what you all think, or if there are any suggestions.

And for Alan...I have left the world of the Gorillaz :?

That was quick Jon.  I have a concern

about using the B5 like on Clubb5.com.  If we decide to use something with that we need to get permission from Thanasi.  There's that crazy little

copyright thing at the bottom of CB5 that prevents us from using images like that.

I'd hate to run into a conflict with that.  I think we can come up with some other unique ideas and we will probably want to think about how it will

look on a window.

Maybe we should have a contest, whoever want's to submit a sticker idea can and then we could have a poll to determine which one is best.

Through that we may be able to even determine a logo for the club.

Anyway, just thoughts.  Thanks for cranking something out so quick!

Jon, I like the first one, but try it with

just "Mtn" or "Mtn." instead of "Mountain".  That might look a little better.
As per Jay's suggestions, also try them with just an italicized "B5" instead of the clubb5 logo.

And there's room enough in the Gorillaz universe for us all. :P  But I like that new avatar though.  It is adequately insane.

I think I would like "Rocky Mtn Club

B5"

Now we just need some creativity with the font...

Well I'm tryin', but I don't really

know my way around Photoshop very well.

Jay (well everyone...) I couldn't remember where you talked about the business card idea, found it in your email-
Quote
I mentioned in the club sticker thread, we should come up with a logo or even if we come up with a great sticker idea use that.

There is another local club that uses business cards.  Has the logo, the URL for the club (yahoo e-group) and a place to write in your name as a

reference.

--I have always wanted something like this to put on B5s I see around town!  Ray could probably print us up some cheap from ODepot.  Let's do it!

I think clubb5.com has the small

stickers again.  I noticed that they are available in the "marketplace" along with the 2003 calendars.

That doesn't mean we can't still get a sticker for RMCB5 though. 8)

Here is what I was thinking:

Also, I was thinking of adding this to a black baseball cap, with a 1" VW symbol on the back.  If I can find a way to do this for under $30, I'll also

see if I can add everyones handle on the back in small letters above or below the VW symbol.  I would like them to be fitted hats.

I've been looking on the internet for a pic of the hat, but haven't been able to find it.

The main problem is finding the 1" VW patch to put on it.  They are proving REALLY hard to find.  Are there any patch collectors out there that

might have some resources in this field?

Would anyone be interested in that?

Did we want to throw the site URL in

with the sticker, either at the end of the above image, or maybe below in small type, so:

RMCB5.com

or

    RMCB5
www.rmcb5.com

(centered of course)

BTW, the new URL is working, but I don't have all the current files moved over.  The forum works fine, but the pictures thing could be wacky.

Jay, we could do that, although I

would want to make it kind of small...

I'm still trying to find a good patch.  The hats shouldn't be a problem and the embroidering shouldn't be too big of a deal, but the patch is proving

to be a beotch...

Winston, I would be up for a hat like

that.  Is it possible to just have VW logo embroidered onto the hat?  Some of those places already have them in their systems ready to go.  I guess

the only issue would be copy write.

I don't have any idea where to find patches, but maybe there is some other option we can come up with.

I like Jay's idea for RMCB5 with the URL located underneath...that would look great.

Jon,

Good idea.  Amanda just suggested the same thing.  I'm going to start a phone campaign to see what I can come up with...

Maybe check with a dealership.

Some of them make polo shirts for their employees with the logo (embroidered) on them.  Maybe they would have a suggestion of where to get

them made, and maybe they would like to possibly sponsor something for us.  We could ask Mike R.  to get in with his contact at Lithia, I bet they

have a place that could make them for us.

A little help from the east... if you

want a logo... I'd e-mail fluid(Fran) from CB5... also a member of mnpassatgroup.com.

He's got the brand identity thing down... I'm sure he could be convinced to give you a hand in the logo/ identity design...

franlu@fluidus.com

as an examaple go here...  www.mnpassatgroup.com

Cheers from the east,
