« on: September 22, 2004, 01:26:17 PM »
The time that we all, or at least I have been waiting for is finally here.  I will be needing to install coilovers, rotors, pads, rear valance, exhaust..  I think that is about all. 8O  So if somone who has a house and tools would let me and some fellow RMCB5 ers come chill and change my car into a fembeast!  Please let me know.  Thanks for all the help.  8)

I think we are going to try and have a garage day sometime in late October or early November.  Stay tuned for more as we line things up.

As we discussed, I'll be there to lend whatever hand and tools I can. I would also like to lift my rear and check my spring perches to see if I can get rid of the minor clunk I aquired after the track day.

It'd be good to have you there Dave :)

I'll be out of town and won't make this one.  If you all do another one later in the month, I might go.

Sorry for the delay and if I sounded misleading.  No, I do not have all of the tools or the place (condo).  I was feeding off of what ColoradoB5 mentioned as a possible place and time.  Usually I like to lend a hand when I can.

Ok cool.  So, anyone have a house that we can chill at?  I think all that we need are some sockets, and torx screwdrivers.  Maybe a few jack stands...  Oh and some kind of clamp for the caliper piston.

I'll try to show up (I'm only free on weekends)-- I need to adjust my rear sway bar.

I'll bring some jack stands and rhino ramps.

I have a set of metric and standard open ends, sockets, several torx bits and drivers, various other things, a good sized  set of channel-locks, stands... and anything else i can think of that might help.

Well the odds are low for October 2nd because I know most of us are going to Avalon for the store opening that day...

See more on that discussion here:

oh yeah, Avalon!  That's right.

The following week is our detailing GTG, so we will probably be GTG'ed out for the next month or so.

Oh yeah Avalon.  I forgot.  Well, I still plan on working on my car.  Maybe I will come over there and get chipped, or something...

Well I want to install my new (correctly drilled this time) lightwieght crank pulley. Problem is that I still need to get the old (wrong hole pattern) unit back to the place I got it from. So maybe in a couple weeks I'll be ready to install it. That means ripping off the front end of the car, again...

Didn't I just do that not long ago? Anyhow, I'll let you all know. If I get it back soon, I might be up for hosting. If not, I'll be sure to want to come to the late Oct. GTG.
