Just watching SPEED and Superleggera is one of the original Ferrari race cars and means "super light". It's pronounced: super le je' ra (soft j sound).
Kinda cool.

guess that same meaning is why the OZ Superleggra wheels weigh so little!  Those are still some of my favorite wheels.

I couldn't agree more!

17.3 or 17.6 lbs (depending on where you find your info) for 18" wheels ain't all that shabby!

You guys aren't going to be the only ones with SLs by the end of the week.

Came across a great deal on them and couldn't pass 'em up.  I probably won't use them until Spring.

Nice!

I was just commiserating with Alan after our little GTG at Wynkoop the other day about having to put the winter wheels and tires on soon. *sigh* Has the summer gone already?

I still plan on making it to the track one more time, so I guess it's not officially over for me.

Interesting, those pictures side-by side do make our cars look like siblings, Alan.

Seeing it again reminded me of the Saturday NGTG drive. Catching up with you after passing the nimrod in the Blazer and the tearing through the mountains was one of the highlights of the weekend for me. I remember watching your roof rack disappear around corners just ahead of me. You certainly know how to drive that thing.
:D

What ever happened with talking about Pueblo at some point before the end of the year? I would very much like to do another track day before winter.

Let's do Pueblo.  When is good for you?  I'm busy the next two weeks, but after that things open up a little.

Weekends are best, but if it works out to be mid-week i will arrange some time off -for sure.

I'd like to sort out my rear suspension before going out again and maybe bleed/fill brake fluid with some DOT racing stuff. I think I might be able to adjust some of the understeer out of my front end and I'd like to see if I can dial that in.

Blahh Blahh Blahh... I wana race! :D

As my schedule is more flexible than most, and I've already set up a day this year, would someone else be willing to call them and arrange something?  We just need an open track day (test-n-tune).

Pat's joining the SL club?  suh-weet!

I'll try to give the Pueblo track a call tomorrow and see what days are open.
