Hey all, just wanted to say hi.  I don't know how I stumbled onto this page.  I just Monday bought a Burgundy station wagon.   Or as I was told on another board a Colorado Red Variant.  I kind of like that.  So if all goes well I pick it up tomorrow.
So just wanted to say hi and maybe I will see some of you around.

I'm not a Passat owner, but I've always heard it as Colorado Red, so  I'm under the impression that's the real name of it.
Regardless, welcome to our corner of the Internet.  It's great to have you here.  I'm sure we'll meet up soon.  There are many people here that have extensive knowledge of your car and, more importantly, all are willing to lend a hand.  Until later...

Now that is what I am talking about!  The CRX group I hung out with was pretty tight.  I was hoping to find the same here.  Once I figure out what all is out there, the transformation will begin!  I just have to convince my wife I need an air compressor now!
Thanks all

Yes, the color really is Colorado Red, up to 2003 or 2004, then they changed it slightly and call it something else now.

Man I had that thing maxed out with my CRX!  My Wife just informed me I was not allowed to do any wiring myself though.  That just took half the fun out of it.
I can't wait to break that wagon in though!

They're actually wrenching right now at Jon's house. And yes, it is the Jim's Burger Haven on Sheridan.

RIght around the corner!  If I did make it out it would be pretty late.  I don't get off of work until 6:00 in Aurora, it is usually around 7 when I get home, so maybe.

Not far at all.  I am on Quay Ct.  Stop by over the weekend.  My allroad is out in front until I finish this project in the garage.
