OK, so I got the rotors all replaced, the front is completely done, pads and everything. I even finished the front adjustments on the coil overs. Now on the rears, that is a different story all together. I was able to get the caliper off, rotor off, new rotor on, and caliper brace back on, but to compress the rear pistons, it is a completely different rear brake tool than I have. Guess I am making a run in the morning to try to find one at the auto parts stores. It is a 4 hole design, and much narrower than the VAG tool. Once that is done, I am pulling the rear coil overs out, and making the dampening stiffer. So, not much more to do, once I have the tool, the entire time left should be under 2 hours for sure.
I did install an arm rest in the mini, it matches the curved arc of the door handle, so it looks OEM in my opinion. I will have pics sometime next week of that and the new brakes.
I am getting pumped to do the interior, but now that I have all this stuff adjusted, I am ITCHING to drive the car. So, maybe I will drive it a bit more, then rip the interior out.
ahhhh, the saga continues. Next week will be the Audi rears, and maybe painting the calipers...but i am still somewhat undecided about the entire thing.
