I have my stock plugs gapped like it was a colder plug and it works a little bit better, I have just been being lazy about changeing them...

You're missing the ] off of your first quote block.

I might be down with a drive if the weather isn't TOO icky. All my family moved away so it's going to be a very quiet christmas for me.

Also wondering if we're still doing this being that SCR has the free days Dec. 26-31. I guess I'm leaning towards SCR.

Maybe we could do that.  I am open to that, but so are a LOT of other people.  It may be too crowded to be enjoyable.  Hell, I got the new swaybar on though, so I am aching for some legal speeding!

Well, I guess I'm back up for this since the SCR free days are not free to us (most of us not being members of those official car clubs).

Yeah I saw that.  Bummer!

I'm still up for a drive and if we can find a good non-snowy route, I am open to any and all suggestions.  The road to Woodland Park is good because it will not be very crowded this time of year and the elevation is not too great on it, so the chances of snow are less than that in the mountains.

Ok check it my homies... What if we met up in monument at the park and ride right off the interstate, took 83 down to the springs and up to woodlend park via hwy 24 like always?

83 is alot more intristing than takeing 25 down to the springs.

As always input is welcome.

So??

Well for me personally I really don't want to be driving more than a couple hours, since it is the day after Christmas and I don't want to leave the fam fam for too long.

The drive down to Woodland Park and back still may be a little too long, but I can't think of any other good, close drives in relatively uninhabited areas...

I think that the way we would take 83 would add about an hour total to the trip. And then to woodland and back would be what?? probly another hour maby more...
I dont know just throwing out ideas....

Ok folks, if this weather keeps up, we may have to postpone the drive.  I would rather run my summer tires, but would do the snows, however, that would make the drive much slower as they handle like a bowl of Jello on a greased counter.

I'll post again Christmas day to see what it looks like.

Ditto.  Snow drive sounds pretty, but not very fun.

Merry XMas and Happy Holidays to everyone!  Anyone interested in a drive tomorrow, maybe a couple hours?  Weather looks great, and I would love to go out and drive.

Merry Christmas guys! I'm still available after 12pm tomorrow. My bro-in-law won't arrive until tomorrow evening so he won't be joining us. I'll be sporting my winter tires which are just some skinny all-seasons, but they'll be fine.

Any ideas on a route? Sounds like the interest is pretty low, maybe another weekend?

I'd love to go, but I still have too much family stuff left to do.  You guys feel free to plan and execute a route, and have fun and be careful.

See ya,
