Colorado Red Variant V6 Sighting...
« on: May 30, 2003, 03:45:03 PM »
I saw a sweet Colorado Red V6 Variant (2000?) with Bonrath (I think) grill, extremely dark tint, and bumper guard driving through the Northwest Parkway construction zone at 144th (Dillon) and HW287 around 14:30 yesterday.  I was in front of the stopped traffic as the Wagon drove by.  Probably didn't see me wave.

Is there someone who hangs out here that I haven't met yet with this Red Variant?  It's be nice to see more Variants!

You know, I don't remember.  I think so, though.

Adrian,

Did they have aftermarket wheels too?  If so, I wonder if this was the guy I saw a couple years ago up in Fort Collins.  Could be.  I also saw a lowered B5 (Indogo Blue) in FC last summer that had exhaust, a bike rack and wheels that looked like Moda R4s...

We need to just pull those people over so we can find out who they are...Now that would be funny...

"Um yeah, son.  Can I see your ID for RMCB5 or CB5?"

I wanted to, but he was going the oppose it direction, and was obviously trying to make up time from the construction detour.  I'm fairly certain he had stock wheels, though.
