Talking with my dad this morning.  He got his S8 back!  That is such a sweet ride, I am happy for him.

Damn, now I need to chip.  I can't stand having my car be slower than his.

He's been driving Porsche and Mercedes.

LOVE THAT MOVIE! My wife wonder's why...I say 'cause it has a fly S8 in it and really awesome car chase scenes. The Transporter makes me want a '99 740IL...But I'll stick with my '99 20VT ;)

OK, I meant DiPP.  I want things a little more concealed than you had them.

Ouch, not still under warranty ?  I was thinking of buying a spare stock ECU just incase something like that happened  :(  That is an extremely expensive fix

I am under warranty, but they found my chip, so it was not covered....not one penny of it.  Spare ECU's are hard to come by...and also expensive.

for me, going back to stock to protect the remainder of the Audi assured warranty is best.  I only have 48K on the car now, and the warranty is good up to 100K.

The S8 in Ronin was awesome.  What are the big differences between the A8 and S8 though?  You just don't hear too much on this car...

That's agood question...  My bad guess is that it's a sport package and probably more agressive gearing...  At least with the last gen A8...

Engine and suspension.

S8 is 345 bhp stock
also has a sport suspension.

I love the 8, but I'm not a fan of the light interior.

That's the first light interior I've seen that I really liked - my A4 has the light color, but I think it would look much better with those dark trim pieces... and of course alcantara-insetted-sport-seats!!!! *drooooool*
