HI stuff
« on: December 20, 2004, 09:50:44 PM »
After weeks of working 10-11hr days for "the man", I finally made it out here to visit the P's new home in HNL...

I won't go in to the weather, as I figure most have an idea.

So I'll start with the food...  I've stopped at this Dim Sum place at least 3 out of the 4 days I’ve been here for lunch.  You can stop in for only a few treats...  Cost is about $4 a trip.  Maybe a Sunday Dim Sum GTG at the Empress or some place similar?  I had no idea that Korean food is sooo good...  Huli Huli Chicken is the bomb!!!  Sushi is on deck for tonight...

Traffic is well, everywhere...

The rides...  Lot of stock Dubs...  Only have seen a few that are modded.  Talked to this kid the other day with a very stock looking Mk3 GTI, only catch was his vortex blower, HR suspension, TT brakes, and Techtonics exhaust.  A bunch of spoon style JDM Honda Civic HB's...  Nice to seen clean rides with out the picnic table on the trunk...  Unfortunately like everywhere else this is a rice movement that affects all car makes and models.  Lots of 20-23's on trucks out here.  My best sighting to date was getting passed today by a Skyline R33 GTR on the Pali Hwy, like i was running backwards...  It was awesome!!!

Unfortunately, no pics.  The Digi met its demise on Sats.  I left it on the roof of the P's 330 a drove off.  Insert crunching noise.  It was the swiftest of maneuvers...

You just gotta keep on livin', man. L-I-V-I-N...

I'm down for some dim sum! My favs are sticky rice, "jook" w/ 1000 year old egg, taro cakes, and "ha cow".

I love Korean food. I love Skyline's too. Mainly 'cause they're rare ;)

King's Land serves dim sum every day so we can do a weekday lunch thing, not just on Sundays (Empress).

That Skyline did scare the sh1t out of me when it passed...  It must have had some huge arse turbos...  Subtle as Sasha Singleton in something naughty (very naughty  ) at Sunday Mass... http://www.rmcb5.com/albums/album82/sasha2.jpg
Saw her cruising around at HID on Sats...  Stupid broken Digi cam!!!

But I digress...

Dim Sum or Korean food sounds goooood...   I get back on the 28th, but I have a ton of work to do for "the man" when I get back...  So, I'm pretty busy till the 1st...  The drive down from Westmunster could eat into my lunch...  Actually, where is King's Land? How 'bout a Saturday afternoon?
