After much thought, ive decided to put a stop to it.
« on: January 25, 2005, 06:07:40 AM »
The other day I added up all the cash it would take to finish the Golf the way I wanted and what the final HP #'s would look like and I decided for that much money I could have 2nd car as a project car, and leave the Golf as it sits. Its still extreamly fun to daily drive.
The car will be just that a daily driver, never to be tracked or modded again  Kinda makes me sad to say it. But it is for the best.

Ill still keep in touch, and besides ill have a project car. :D
I havent totally decided what its going to be but it will be the ultimate colorado car, it will most likely have a front mount, 4WD and a bed 4 or 5 feet something like that. the whole deal will weagh around 2200 lbs tops (probly less) and have 260-275 whp. With a budget of 4500 I can totally pull it off.

Ill bet you cant guess what it is.:P

Yes it would.  Like this one in Erie for example:

Not $4000 I know, but worth it anyway.

Now that is probably it!

I would love to see a pumped up Starion!  I always wanted one of those.  2.7t.  That was a fast car!  The only 4 cylinder that was larger at the time was the Porsche 944 at 3 liters.

A Mighty Max Pick up with a motor from one of these.

Very slight modification to the fire wall and some light fabrication, radiator hoses and such. bolts right to the tranny.

I'd love to see a mighty max work a unsuspecting schtang, camullet or any other fast car for that matter...

You probably have this already, but here's a DSM link for parts... http://www.buschurracing.com/parts_catalog.html

You just gotta keep on livin', man. L-I-V-I-N...

Totally killer, and you could totally kill your self in it too.
I want one of the 4wd ones, I think that would be perfect.
My buddys brother in law works for 4wheel parts and said he would be more than happy to provide some discounted drive train parts. He says that with a little effort you could launch in in 4hi and smoke 4 tires.

Wouldent you be scared if an 88 mighty max drew smoke off 4 tires when it launched? Exactly. 8O  :D
