Sway bars? Thought of the day!
« on: January 26, 2005, 07:36:20 PM »
I plan on doing a bit of auto_X with my S4 and want a better sway bar set up.

I know my factory sway bars would be an upgrade to a Non "sport package" A4.

Would they also fit other "B5" cars? Would it be an "upgrade" for someone? Passat?

If so would some one be interested for a reasonable price?

Rear only? Front and rear? etc.

(trying to decide how much to spend on bars and if I want just a rear, or a "set")

I'd be interested in the rear (sometime) - how much you thinking?

The rear bar would have to go in a quatro car, as the rear end of the passat is different.  I am sure some one on AudiWorld might be interrested.

Well you would want the upgraded rear, the front is the real question.  Witht eh A4/S4 there are a a few options and I believe there is greater availablility of just rear or just front.

However, you can only swap bars with other A4s IIRC.

FYI, you can't change the rear bar and stay in the stock classes in the SCCA. I think this is a deliberate bias by the old school guys trying to smack down the awd and fwd cars!
