The more I drive this car, the more i love it.  Already found some Cobb Tuning Sway bars, once they release them to the market, that will make a world of difference.  But outside of that, no major plans for the car outside of window tint.

now, on to the pics..these are in the garage, so not great shots...but you get the idea.  The trick thing about the dash lights is that they run through a test cycle when they first turn on, I was able to catch the needle movement before the white background turned on...much cooler in person

JR, thanks man, whild driving this car, I forget that it is a Subie, feels as stable and sure footed as the Audi did, just a tad bit more wind noise, but otherwise, SOLID.

Congrats Jon, I have heard very good things about the new Subaru's, a lil surprised that is feels as solid as the AR though!!  That is awesome.

I agree with pat, RICER!!!!

Not really. I like those new Subies. Does it have the cargo space that the AR had?

Nice! I like the Outbacks too, my Mom has a green one... I just wish the front seats would go back a little bit farther, for us taller guys.

Congrats!

The back seat area is a tad less leg room, but the rear cargo space is basically the same, and with the seats down (much easier to put the seat down and remove the cargo cover than the allroad)...the room is the same from what i see.  There is more cargo storage and grocery tie-downs in the Outback...and it does not have the rear latch issue that Gragravar experienced first hand with his dog...so that is a safety feature for when I get a dog.

Mark, you are too tall for the outback, the seats do not go back that far, but for me, I still have room to take the seat back...just cut off your legs at the knee and you will be fine, hehe

Nice Jon. We get wind noise up near the driver side-view mirror when going at highway speed. Stupid frameless windows.

granted I only have 127 miles on the car, but so far, very quiet inside, much less noise than the MINI, and about the same as the Audi...just a touch louder...the engine does sound like a jet at times, more like a super charger than a turbo, but I guess that is the boxer nature of the motor.

do you all have a 2005 Legacy line?

ah, I see.  The car is totally different these days, many improvements.  Some have complained of wind noise, but so far, I don't hear it, and I was doing 85 on the highway last night...on the way home from traffic court, hehe.

Beautiful car Jon.  I too like what Subaru is releasing these days.  It looks like they are working on the fine points and making the car a bit more refined.
If it ain't broke, take it apart and fix it!

Pat likey...especially the 3/4 area.  Tailights integrate nicely with the body.

I would have to get one in black, but I do like these as well.  Maybe when we go car shopping for Jen late summer or fall, we will have to test drive some of these.

yeah, after owning a black car, I vowed NEVER AGAIN.  Black looks awesome for about 10 minutes after you wash it, then it always looks dusty and shows too many scratches.  I wanted to simplify.

I would be happy to let you and Jen try this car after it get's broken in, you will be surprised how quick and nice it is.  I was impressed, and as you know, and as everyone knows, I have VERY HIGH STANDARDS.
