Glad you'll make it.  we'll consider this the "before" viewing of the Subie.

By the time I get out of work then get down there it will probably be 6:30.

Last time I was there my fast lap was 21.16 and I weigh 180lbs.  Ity makes a big diffference which kart you get...watch to see which ones are going fast.  I hear they may have new karts now too.  I can't go tonight but thats a great time.

Somebody should keep track of the final numbers and post the fast laps afterwards.

I can finally get out of my garage so I'm going to go put in a couple hours before hitting the track...now if I can keep from high-centering

Sounds like my plan for the day.  tractor/plow still took more than an hour to clear the driveway this morning.  Then in the subdivision there were a few drifts big enough that I thought the allroad would get stuck.  :-(  oh well, made it in.

See you all at the track this evening.

Yeah...once I got out of the complex...the roads were fine. Well, except where it went to one lane. I'm so stinking low that I hit everything. I knocked my lower tie bar REALLY HARD on a manhole Friday too..I think it the LTB is curved now 8O

Anyway, I called them and they ARE open. Mark and I were talking about ordering some Pizza for dinner too so if anyone wants in...I asked them about it and they said they normally don't allow it, but she (Amanda) will if we clean up after ourselves and not act like a bunch of idiots.

I'm hoping that nobody wants to go out in the bad weather today and it'll be empty so we drive until we die.

Good to hear they are open.

I will skip the Pizza as I plan to grab dinner with the wife and sister in law and kids before heading down.  My friend Verc can't make it after all.

I will plan to be down there no later than 6:30.  see ya then.

PS - gloves - what kind does everyone plan to use?  Should I bring my motorcycle ones, or what?

Dang Randy...that sucks...oh well, more for me :D

I plan on wearing my bike gloves (fingerless). Something to keep my hands from getting raw. After one race, they hurt.

If you don't have one (like me), bring something you can wear on your head or they'll charge you two bucks.

I also can't make it,  people called in sick because of the "snow"  they are "snowed" in and that makes the unit way short on staff, so I said I will work, going in now, won't be home until after 11pm...

Good, then park next to the allroad, and someone bring a good camera.  I want to get some nightime shots of the difference in color between your xenons and my OEM ones.

Wow, what a great time!  Both Gen and I had a blast, and with each race I was able to improve a lot, finally getting a 22.37 for my fastest lap.  It appears that if you can master the track, you will break the 22 second mark, which I don't think any of us did.   But none the less, this was a great way to really learn additional skills which I will use next time I go out to the real track.  And no, I didn't run into anyone today.. :)

Ouch.  welt's aren't good.

I am just sore from being shaken around on the kart.  No welt's here though.   :P
