North Denver GTG - Sunday May 1

From the tex http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1910663 :

"...Now the good weather is really coming along!"

The fouth installment of Denver gathering is happening Sunday, May 1st, 2005 @ 1:00pm
Looking to have a nice meet-up and drive for this event.

It'll be at Dave + Busters on 104th Ave and the Boulder Turnpike (HW 36).
We'll meet on in the north-west parking lot; directions are below.

Schedule:
* meet @ 1:00pm - converse with fellow owners
* head into D&B @ 2:30pm - play / drink (lightly) with fellow owners
* back out to the parking lot @ 4:30pm for a late afternoon drive with fellow owners.
(looking for suggestions - we'll pick a route the day of the GTG)

Directions:
* Get off I-36 at the 104th Ave exit and head east
* Turn left (north) on Westminster Blvd (the first light after you get onto 104th)
* Head north past the first stop-light and then under the pedestrian bridge and turn left at the following light.
* After turning left above, you will see D+B on your left along with the AMC 24.
* Take a right at the first parking lot intersection before the bowling alley.
* Head for the north-west parking lot across from the bowling alley.
(there will be less cross-traffic and perfect space for all of us!)

There will be a ton of space available towards the rear, we shouldn't have a problem at all.
And bring your cameras; there will be daylight... duh!

We would like to keep this a euro GTG.
If you want to cross-post for other forums that pertain to automakers east of the pond, that's fine.
Please copy all the info and post responsibily; as always all owners are liable for their own actions.

--> Note! I want to be very crystal clear on this: Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT burnout, speed, or create careless driving acts in your vehicles while in the D&B parking lot. Last time we had owners speed, peel out, and commit wreckless acts. Please ABSOLUTELY NO burnouts, speeding, or careless acts in our vehicles; clear?

--> ATTENTION: Due to immature actions of some last time, if anyone brings negative attention to themselves, myself and other VW owners WILL REPORT YOU to the authorties with your name / make / model / color / license plate. I am not joking when I say that many of us were extremely pissed off that people could not follow basic courtesy that escorted out of the parking garage.

--> Second Note! There will be no reservations set; this will be a "free-for-all" event more or less.

--> Also note! Please come with a positive attitude; not one person had a bad time during February's GTG, lets repeat it.
If you missed on last time, highly recommend coming this time; should be an excellent gathering!

--> And, a final note! Remember that D&B has somewhat of a age limit. 21 to get in, no questions asked. If you're under 21, you *have* to be accompanied by someone over 25. And with that, there's a 4-to-1 ratio (4 underaged persons to one 25+ adult). So, you can get it, but I would make some of-aged friends quickly. However, I've been there under the age and if you act well and play some games without goofing off, they won't have a problem.

Please post if your going; I'll do my best to keep track and update a list as it formulates.

Questions, concerns, comments? Feel free to IM me!

Day before I get back to Denver. Going to miss this one too it seems. But I do get to go to the St. Louis Euromeet (http://www.stleuromeet.com) so I'll take pictures of that.  Next time, count me in.
