So Andrew, do we get to hear a review? Is it this one:

Thank you both SO much for your help. Car sounds great! If I drive mellow it's clearly audible, but not overbearing. At WOT... well that's supposed to be loud!

Just need to snug up those two connections and it's rawk 'n roll baby!

Thanks again guys!!!

It's similar to that but I opted for a 2.5" Turbo Back instead of a 3".

It's the GHL one:

When I start looking at a Big Turbo later in the game I will have to go with something slightly different, at least for the DP.

A few of the connections are not quite tight enough but even still, throttle response is a bit better as well as a bit more power. I'm being conservative in my evaluations about both of those intentionally right now because while there's definitely a difference, I don't think I would call it earth shattering (of course I felt the same exact way about the REVO software too -as Greg will remember.).

That being said, last night on the way home I had a bunch of tools in the car and I didn't romp on it all that hard and this morning was commute traffic. Tonight and over the next couple days as I've had a chance to seal the two small leaks and actually go for a "drive" I'm betting my perspective will change a bit. I've also got to line up installing my Bosh 4BAR FPR and the corresponding REVO software update, which should also be good for another pony or two.

My verdict thus far is that it's a very, very good thing and I'm STOKED that I did it (with the help of our two Andrews here of course) but ultimately, I don't seem to enjoy horsepower/torque upgrades nearly as much as handling upgrades. I just have to say that was the mod that put a smile on my face for... oh hell, after a year  it's STILL there ;)

Including dinner, beer time and chat time around 4.5 hours.  Could probably be done in a little less.  I dont think it took that long to do my millitek.

Yeah, I would say if you were really serious about getting it done quick, you could easy knock and hour and a half off of that.

Like Andrew mentions, that time included stops for dinner and beer.  And we were slow (ok call it careful) in figuring out proper placement for the jackstands and the like.  there were also several times that we only had one of the 3 of us working, with the other 2 supervising.

luckily I got to play supervisor most of the time.  hehe.

I can't wait to go for a ride!  It was already pretty quick.  What's the new FPR and software do for power?  You're not going to make me look silly at SCR, are you?

Supposed to be good for a pony or two(maybe), but mostly I plan on getting the SPS3(serial port switch 3) which will alow me to adjust the boost and timing and having the extra fuel on tap could very well save my engine.

after i installed my turbo back it took a couple days of driving for the cars ecu to really get adjusted. You will defintly notice the differnce, especially 4000rpms and up.
