Dave buys 337 and sells wheels to Rob.
Sarah buys 337 and sells wheels to JR.

Rob and JR swap wheels.  Can you picture it :?:
Believe me, the real thing is better than you expect :P

I kind of like the color fading!

Carla still gives me grief for getting rid of the Flik Artic's.  She really liked them.  I just could not see replacing tires every 1.5 to two years.  Those Falkens wore fast, great tire though!
If it ain't broke, take it apart and fix it!

Yeah. I keep telling Tish I'm gonna sell stuff and she keeps telling me not to. I love the Fliks. I think they look amazing on my car. Tish acutally likes them too which is a bonus.

I've got Kuhmo ASX's on them now so hopefully with some winter steelies, I can go 2 years or so before buying a new set.  :P I'm happy, it rides better than ever. Hopefully with the new TREs, it'll be even better than that :P

Ahh!  Very nice!  It's good to see them on a sweet ride.

Now if we could just sneak you out to one of the old taxyways or if there is still a runway left (doubt that!), that would be a good run.  Actually could you imagine a chance to hit the new 6th runway at DIA.  Isn't that something like 16,000ft long!  Oh man would that allow you to get up to speed!  8)

17" Ronal R28's with (pending) Nokian WR's.

I love the bling, but I'm a little bummed. I think the 18's raised my car back up a couple inches. I don't have clearance issues anymore though.

And since I rolled my fenders last night, I don't have any rubbing issues either.

Sweet JR, I just rolled mine Sunday.  I really needed to do this anyway, but it's funny how we were both checking that off our list...

:P It kinda started as a fluke then I realized I could do it. The paint cracked on the inside in a couple of places, but I touched it back up with my factory touch-up paint.

How'd you end up rolling them? I'll let you go first since mine was well, brutish

I had a couple cracks as well.  I am going to pick up some touch up paint when I go to get some power steering fluid in the next day or so...

So how'd you roll them? I used a cloth four times wrapped end of a socket wrench, two beers, hip-hop and my remaining energy for the day.

It feels so nice now though and I can fly around the twisties again :P

I used a wooden baseball bat.

It gave more than a metal one, but I knew it would do a little cracking anyway.  Since my front end needs painting so bad, I wasn't too worried about it for the short term.  I want to get it painted in the next year or so, so a little touch up paint will do the trick until then.

I understand Tire Source in Boulder will rent one for $10/day.  I have also heard tirerack.com will rent one essentially for the cost of shipping.

I know they make a tool, but I did it without a tool and I was fine. I guess that makes me the tool 8O  :P
It did slip a couple times, but as I said, it was wrapped for 4xs in cloth so no damage. I had to use the wheel as leverage though. Smashed my knuckle a couple times on the rim...that hurt.
