adjusting hood lift/struts?
« on: April 25, 2005, 02:54:41 PM »
I installed eyelids to my headlights last night and after it was installed I noticed that the gap between the hood edge and the headlight/grille is wider one side than the other (anout 1/4" difference) -- the eyelid made it much more noticable.

I know you can adjust the lift struts on the trunk, but is there a way of doing it to the hood as well?

Hey Alan, are you sure changing the strut would change the alignment?  I haven't looked at it myself, but it seems to me the hinges would be what you'd want to change on it.

agree with Pat.  I can check my Bentley later today and see if there is an adjustment thingy.  I will get back to you with a pic if there is one.
