those are cool, saw them a while back on audiworld, there are some better shots of them somewhere, but still, interesting concept, but weight is about the same as a standard tire/wheel combo

I just wonder how the behave compared to regular tubelss tires while in hard cornering situations or on a track?

What would happen if someone threw a stick at your tire and it got sucked into the wheel well?  I know I am not the only one that did this to my brother on his new 10 speed as a kid.

Interresting idea though 8O

My main concern would be dirt, since I live on a dirt road, what happens when they get packed with mud or snow? I have issues with tire ballence as it is. Those tires look like they have plenty of nooks and crannys for dirt to hide in...

Ill be intristed to see if they ever make retail shelves..

I bet they do hit retail, but probably without an M&S rating.

For winter you could always just pack the whole thing with Snow to try to maintain balance.  kind of seems like a PITA though.  that and it would have to impact ride quality too.
