Spring detailing GTG?
« on: May 03, 2005, 01:51:14 PM »
It didn't seem that long ago where we had our fall waxing GTG at Jason's house.  And when we get over this recent cold and wet weather, I'm sure our cars will be yearning to shed all that winter dirt, grime and mag chloride off.

I'm hoping to do a full clay bar, polish, wax and interior detailing just in time for the summer weather.
Anyone else interested?

I did mine two weekends ago...just in time for the rain    I'd be up for doing it again, though.

I know getting any kind of GTG organized is a bit hard, so I'll probably do mine in my garage and spread it out over a few weeknights.

Dang...this club doesn't do anything anymore. No wonder I'm bored with it.

Well, we have a mini-GTG over at my house on the 14th.  If you want to come over, you're welcome to wash and detail the car there.  Heath and I will be working on timing belts, and perhaps a brake kit.  I've got all the supplies for washing (soap, mits, wheel wash, wax, and polisher), including the clay bar.

I'll  be firing up the grill to cook some burgers/chicken/shish kabobs.  If anyone else is interested, let me know and I'll increase the food amount.

You're more than welcome to come over and work on them at the house.  I have more than enough tools and equipment.  Just let me know and I'll send you an address.
