wud up Dave?

you should list out the perks on your STitty.  I know what you got on there, but still, some of the others might want to know what their competition will be on track day

The stock STI wasn't fast enough? Welcome. Add some pics too.

Nice to have you too! I'm just across the airfield in Inverness. What color's your car? I passed a guy in an STI on my way home last night that was turning onto W. Arapahoe from S. Peoria...I think he was on the phone. The car was blue. But it was a bit louder than a stock STI.

heh, my STi stands out because its wingless.  for the 02 and up body styling the Rally blue color was only also used for the WRX, and it normally comes with a spoiler..  so to go wingless i had to swap trunks with a WRX owner who either special ordered, or happened to buy a wingless WRX.  so, its hard to tell its an STi unless you recognize the wheels, brakes, body trim, or huge scoop.  Since I removed the wing i get almost NO looks..

So far I've personally done:
-debadged (only says STi)
-wingless trunk
-full "hi-fi" stereo
-the silencer delete mod (unnecessary intake duct removal)
-Prodrive STi springs= 1" lower + stiffer
-Cobb swaybars F&R (rear is 3 pos. adjustable) both set 90% stiffer than OEM
(no detectable body roll)
-Hotchkis swaybar endlinks
-Kartboy short throw shifter and shifter bushings
-Prodrive shift knob
-Whiteline hardened steering rack bushings
Ferodo DS2500 brake pads (on order)
Custom hand made carbon fiber gas pedal

the ride is kinda rough but hell, it handles like a rabid monkey on crack

mods to come:
BB twin tip turboback
K&N Typhoon short ram intake
Cusco OS Strut braces F&R
Cusco under chassis bracing
Tein hood dampers (get rid of the prop-up rod)
Cobb stainless braided brake lines
Braided clutch line
Cobb Accessport ECU system w/(eventually) fully programmable Tuner software
Cobb or Perrin lightened crank pulley
window tint
footwell lighting
fog lights
2nd wheelset
finish making the rest of my custom carbon pedals (the add at least 15whp)

just installed a catless TBE 4" bellmouth to full 3" from Invidia (gorgeous, super high quality)
also,
Sti replica strut bars (look like the originals, but cheaper), and Ferodo DS2500 brake pads.  track day, watchout!

looks like i'll be installing water injection this summer, as well..

awesome Dave, can't wait to see it all and to go for a ride.

I got my suspension in and aligned, I stripped a cam bolt on the rear, so that is on order, then it needs a slight adjustment, then I should be rockin for track day.

Not sure I will run all day, but I will be out there to see what the grocery getter can do.

I have Ferodo on the front of my MINI, they are awesome, you should be really happy with them.
