the driver meeting starts at 830am at Second creek this Saturday.

The prize drawings will happen at that time as well.  If you are not there, you can not win, and you will miss out on the all important drivers meeting for conduct and safety.

Please plan accordingly

Thank you

We should make that drivers meeting mandatory.  if you are going to drive out on the track, it is important to have been through the same safety info.

Late arrivals shouldn't be allowed on the track until they track down an instructor and hear the briefing info 1:1.

Pat and Jon, should we give out wristbands at the meeting and have someone take turns at pit out to watch for them and wave out the cars?

not sure we need to go that far.  If everyone goes to the drivers meeting it becomes a moot point anyway.  After that if we keep a checklist of paid drivers and that they have been briefed (so we know who has not) then we should be OK.

I think of this as a small/informal crowd - we mostly know each other and the people that will be there so we should be able to self police by watching for new folks showing up.

Good point - I tend to stray into comparing it to open track days or the more formal car club events.

I think a sign off of paid members at the drivers meeting is great...and if someone shows up late, they should not be allowed on the track until they have a chat with either Mark or Rick regarding track rules and conduct/safe driving.

No one wants an accident or damaged car out there, so let's keep it that way...not to mention injury free!!!!
