There are 2 other events going on the same day... Bug-In at Bandimere and Avalon Motorsports has planned a Mt. Evans drive, just thought you should know!

Oh well!  For those that can't make it to the Open House, you can always come to the Denver GP.  The Touring Car race will be Saturday (8/13) at 6pm.  Should be an interesting race.

Thanks as always for the invite, maybe some folks can make it that aren't doing the other events.

We will be at the race cheering on the local team! :D

Any chance you will be doing a little unscheduled pratice before the event - say at 4AM....

So Snyder MS will be participating in the Denver GP? Or did I read that wrong?

Somehow I think the organizers would frown on a 4AM practice session.  I mean, I could do it, but they probably wouldn't like me much after that.

We will be competing in Speed World Challenge Touring Car race, which is one of the support series at the Grand Prix of Denver.  This will be Round 9 of 11 for the Touring Car series.

Who needs friends when it's 4AM and you have a GP course all to yourself?  8O

Sounds cool I'm going to try to make it to the track Saturday and Sunday...at least for a little while 8)

Perhaps clarification is needed on my earlier comment..

I mean becasue the track is a road course, you could turn a few laps in the weeks before the event.  Get a couple look-outs and go for it n the early morning.

I would be happy to offer my eye to you.

Ah, I understand now, but this brings up another problem.  The "roads" that the track will use are not all roads.  Sure, the track used part of Auroria Parkway, but most of the other "roads" are actually just empty parking lot.  So, without the concrete walls there, it would be really hard to figure out where track goes.  Anyway, somewhere I have a very detailed map from the first year the track was made.  I need to pull it out and start reviewing it.  ;)
