Yep. And I'm going to continue to do so. I can't make it tonight. I've got to do a test that usually, if started today, would be done on Friday, but today needs to be done tomorrow. So there's two of us on it.

Suck. I wanted to burgers and playtime. Sorry guys.    :x

My step-dad works at the Denver Zoo, and he just informed me that it used to be a city ordinance that you could not bring beer in bottles to the park.  He said he doesn't know if it is still that way.  Anybody any wiser on the topic, because my stuff would have to be in bottles?

I'll grab a package of plastic cups. Safer either way.

I've already got cups coming (should be enough) so as long as we keep the bottles out of sight we should be ok.

I'm starting to get the impression that we're going to have so much beer there, that everybody's leaving happy. :)

Me - 12 bottles German
Charles - 12 bottles microbrewed
Jon - NB Growler
Ian - several misc. beers
Andrew - several misc. beers

PROST!

Ian , it was nice to meet you last night.

Sorry I had to leave quickly but my 2 yr old took a fall off the swing and wanted to go home.

I hope all had a great time.

I too had allot of fun and it was very nice to meet some new faces and to see some old ones.  Thank you for the great food and conversation.  My daughter stayed awake all the way home talking about the fun she had playing with her new friends.
If it ain't broke, take it apart and fix it!

Thank you all who came out.

Extra special thanks to Ian for putting this thing together, cooking, bringing the awesome brats AND the grill, to Sarah for hooking up the cheesecake and inspiring this whole GTG, and to Alan for the softball sized scrumptious beefy burger goodness.

It was, as always, great to see everyone last night.

For those that missed out, it sounds like we may do another one of these soon, including a short drive and during the day i believe? :D

I'm thinking the 11th, 17th, or 18th of August myself...maybe I'll start another post...

Also, thinking about heading down south somewhat...perhaps Monument, Larkspur, or Palmer Lake area, so our CO Springs and further south bretheren can partake...

If we do, I hope it is the 11th, instead of 17th or 18th.  The 18th I will probably head back to St. Louis, and the 17th is the day after my birthday, so I might be um...incapacitated! :)

How about castlewood canyon? It is a large and rather beautiful park along hwy83 between CSprings and Denver.

Funny you should mention that...I just got off the phone with them.  Watch for a new thread...
