Good idea, but they need to lisense the technology to a major tire manufacture...  All their tires are retreads otherwise I would try a set.

Several states including Washington have given drivers in those states a recomendation to use these tires instead of studded tires to help lengthen the life of the highways.  Plus you can use them in any state that has banned studded tires.

They were on 9News last night.  They claim a quieter noise than studs and an increased grip with wear - as they expose more man made diamonds.

Interesting idea but I don't think I will be running them anytime soon.

I guess they have made a name for themselves in Alaska too!

great idea -- you could have bling on your wheels without having 20" chrome spinners!

I like how old tires are being recycled, as old tires and the disposal and the reprocessing of them are really bad for the environment.  However, I'm not crazy that there is a concern that there will be some inconsistancy of the quality and construction of these dimond studded tires as the foundation comes from various other manufacturers.

But if they last longer and provide more traction than other snow tires and are competitively priced, I may even consider them for my next set instead of the trusted Blizzaks.

According to the news broadcast... buying four of these tires prevents one from being in a landfill somewhere.
