interest in a Friday 9/2 track day at pueblo?
« on: August 03, 2005, 01:11:23 PM »
My friend Jim who attended our track day this year wants to do one more.  Pueblo is supposed to be a good track.  this day would be a public day where we could run for $100 for a full day or $60 for a half day.  we wouldn't have the track to ourselves, but things tend to be pretty quiet on weekdays there.

Any interest?

I hear the Pueblo track is pretty good as well, I would also hit up the folks on edition719.com since they are closer to Pueblo and I bet there are a few that would like going.

It's a long drive so make sure you are prepared for the worse.

I think I'll go.
FWIW, it takes me about 20 minutes more to get to the Pueblo track than SCR.
And yes, the extra 40 minutes of driving is worth it.

haha, depends on what side of town you live on. :)

wish I could, but I will be working, as usual.  Pueblo is a great track, great experience driving down there....long straights, tight turns, elevation changes....tons of fun.

Unfortunately it is to far for me, and school would have started, and my car really doesn't belong on a track, and it cost money.  I have to have excuses.

I'd love to go, but as before, will already be back in St. Louis by 9/2.  Too bad we couldn't setup a track event down there earlier this summer, I've been dying to get down there with the club.

Park on Friday, September 2nd.

MINI5280.org has invited it's members, friends and guest to Open Track Day on Sept 2.  There may be a dozen or more MINIs, give or take a few.

We will leave Denver at 7 am from S. Santa Fe Drive near Highlands Ranch (high octane down there) and head on down.

Let us know if you want to group it.

Thanks,

Jonathan
