All installed... thanks to.. well.... you know who you are  :D

The shots below were taken immediately after install.  The only thing I did was drive around the block for about 5 minutes.  They are still going to settle a bit - adding a bit more of  a tucked look.  I definately like 'em so far.

Here they are:

Here is a quick shot of what it looked liked before the iON Performance springs:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

got in on a group by a little over a month ago for perf springs - for the subie of course.  They are here and will be going in tomorrow....

Needless to say I cannot wait.... and I figured I would post this in the off topic forum as not to upset the JRs of the world

I will post before and aft fotags tomorrow....

Jay, you are an evil, evil man...

so I will try again....

Scoobies and MINIs and VWs RULE  and Betsy's Tacoma, that is pretty cool as well.

I personally can't wait for the first ride in Jeremy's car with these springs...rated to be one of the best options out there for the new legacy.

*sigh* They do kind of suck now that they're older and slow compared to the zoom zoom econo boxes out now. Oh well. These will probably be my last two VW's...I have to get back to work now...I'm actually waiting to hear back from Peak Nissan via email 8O

Sadly, I highly suspect that my current B5 will be my last Audi for awhile. I am very interested in the upcoming VW TSI diesel technology though, so I might get something similar. If I got a sports car, it'd probably be an Elise or maybe even an Evo. I don't know. I'm a bit down on the car thing.

he ordered iON Performance springs.....

Specs:
The fronts are progressive, while the rears are linear rates.

Spring rates are as follows: *for 5MT LGT Sedan, rates for wagon and 2.5i as well as 5MT vs auto are different.*

Front: @1" compression: 40N/mm, @2" compression: 52N/mm
Rear: (linear) 67N/mm

(Imperial Units)
Front: @1" compression: 228lb/in, @2" compression: 297lb/in
Rear: (linear)
382lb/in

not totally sure what the numbers are for the wagon, which he has, but they are probably pretty close to these.  Also, I am not sure the total drop, but believe it is over an inch.  I am sure Jer will chime in with more info, as he is the man with the springs. ;)

outbacks definately look better lowered.   8)   consider it your "manual 402 mod"  Jon can explain.  It is an allroad thing.

I am not sure if I am suppose to take that as a compliment or a slam.. lol...  if you are thinking my leg gt is a obxt then I guess it is a compliment.  If in fact you know my ride is a leg gt... then I guess you don't think it looks as good as the obxt lowered.....

hmmmm.... perplexed.

Go with the compliment thing.  looks awesome!

I am just unable to tell the difference between the leg gt and obxt.  eh, maybe the full paint thing.  oh well.  still looks good.

difference is the bumpers, fog lights, and the fender kits.  Everything is bigger on the OBXT over the legacy...see mine in the background in one of his pics...you can see the difference in the front bumpers.

True dat, true dat.  I only wish I had your brakes...then my car would be complete.  Upgrade the rotors and pads, SS lines, and it would be hard to  compete with my 300hp grocery getter.
