Stuck in Topeka
« on: December 17, 2005, 10:30:20 PM »
Well, my trip to Denver was slowed down by the snow in Kansas.  I bought new tires for my wife's 02 wagon, Michelin Exalto A/S, but they couldn't get them in time for my car prior my departure yesterday.  I'll have the set by the end of next week.

I am running 17" Toyo proxes 4 and I had a few slippery moments on I70 so I decided to spend the night.

The good news is that there is a Hooters next door.  Yahoo!!!

I'll be in Denver on Sunday.

I finally made in town around 4pm.  The roads from Topeka to Hays were pretty tricky.  I had a few moments where I thought I was going to lose it.  The roads were pretty icy.  I am glad I stopped last night when I did.

My car looked like a big booger.  I had to get her cleaned up this evening.  See you guys Tuesday.
