Where to go for dinner?
« on: February 10, 2006, 06:09:10 PM »
Chuck E Cheese or Dave and Busters???

Our kid's 3rd birthday is today.  She is having a birthday party with lots of friends tomorrow. But, we still want to do something fun for dinner tonight.   Chuck E Cheese is probably more kid oriented, but may drive me nuts and the pizza isn't that good.  The food at D&B is good, but there are fewer games aimed at little kids.  hmm.

Opinions please

Have you thought about Fat City out in Littleton?  Since it's your daughter's day, I'd go where she would have the most fun...

Chuck E Cheese, you have to do it just once. Get it over with. I think it will be better for the kids. I don't feel D&B is a family joint. Not to mention it is really expensive I know Chuck E Cheeses does birthday deals and all that. Yeah teh pizza sucks, but the kids don't care.

are you guys nuts?  we live in Brighton.  you can't get further away and still be in town.  heading down there, during rush hour, after a snow storm, is not the thing I want to do with a 3 year old and one year old stuck in the car.  maybe some other time though.  I have been there and it is a fun place.

too bad celebrety fun center isn't around anymore (<--- test to see how old the rest of you are)

yeah, there is, 3 is still a little young for that though.  I think we are more interested in Skeeball and winning tickets to get a stuffed animal.

That won't end for awhile...I don't know that end of town anymore, so I can't recommend anything else.  In reality, she probably won't care, just so long as she's there with you two, with your attention focused on her, regardless of what games are played.

I used to go to Celebrity all teh time. It creeps me out to drive by there and see Wild Oats and EMS and all that.  The water slides were fun.

Oh yeah I gotta reply to the Celebrity Fun Center.  I went there for a Jr. High field trip.  That was a great place with water slides and arcade games.  It was in a great location too!

that is the saving grace for chuck e cheese. that must be how they stay in biz. parents can bring their kids so they can play, and then they can grad a beer. Now if they just combined shotgun willies in a closed off section of chuck e cheese it could be fun for the whole family.

I had a perfect place for your party: Pump It Up! Maybe she can have her 4th birthday party there.
