Am I the only one having an aweful day??

I should have stayed home because I felt sick all night and again this morning, another department's not pulling thier weight and nothing is where it should be if everyone's doing their job properly. ARGH! I need a bat and some glass..

It is pretty amaxing, but I am having a pretty good day.

I am about a week behind schedule with a major report I need to finish by next Monday.  but that said, I had an awesome executive review presentation that I conducted this morning.  then since then I have been able to clear a bunch of items that were clogging my to-do list so now I can focus on that report.

oh, and I get to leave early to head downtown for what should be a good presentation this evening.

anyone else going to this?

Year end this month. I had to fire a distributor and have to let another one go in April. Hiring a new one this week. Just engineered a big project in the springs that is supposed to close on Friday. $3.3M if all goes according to plan but when was th elast time THAT happened.

it's going to take more than beer to make my day better. I am about ready to quit and tell everyone where to go. My days are getting numbers.

Don't pull an "office space" and burn down the building! Just bring in a few fish and gut them at your desk on the TPS reports. That should raise a few eyebrows as to the stress level you are at!

I went to sleep yesterday morning (after night shift) at about 10am, woke up at 6pm when Betsy got home, went back to bed at about 9pm and woke up again at 6am this morning. :)  I have been doing house projects, finishing up slate on the shelves in the main entry way, and watching movies.....

So, no, i am not having a bad day at all.

Sorry your day is not so fun, hopefully it turns around.

If it's any consolation JR, I may be looking for a new job very soon.

Can we start a business where money just pours in, and we don't really have to work, and we just do fun stuff like work on our cars, ski, bike and all that?

I guess that measn we all chip in for lotto tickets.

I really do have, what I think to be, a unique and good idea.  It would take someone who can code an email platform, and then someone good with security.  Plus, someone with Marketing.  It's a subscription based internet email idea, one that I think could eventually be sold to a larger provider.  If anyone is curious, PM me.

I had one piece of good news...just another step in the process, but at least I wasn't turned down...some of you know what it is. The others, well, you'll have to wait. :D

Not to jinx myselft, but the company I am currently with I have been with officially for 3yr 2 months, or 3yr 8months unofficially (6mo contract).

Previously I could not make it at a job more than 3 years, except for the Golf course, but that was seasonal so it doesn't count.

I hope to be here awhile longer, I actually enjoy the people I work with and the job even though sometimes it keeps me too busy.

we should talk, while I am not terribly interested in leaving my current job ( I actuall like it), I wouldn't mind making some contributions to a start up.  lets grab a beer some time and talk through your idea.
