Who wants to go?

We will all group up together around 6:00 pm in the upper parking lot above the track.

$30.00 fee for racers
$10.00 fee for spectators

I will also collect your slip times and post them the following day.

Actually, it's just before the gas station, Conoco, which is on the NW corner of Rooney Ranch Road and Morrison.

I'm supposed to work late that evening, let me see if I can switch with a coworker.

I didn't realize the 26th was a Wednesday. I thought it was a Friday for some reason. I have school that night. I'm going to have to hold off on this one.

It stuck in my head that the gas station is on the NE corner, but I haven't been out there for about a year. Either way turn right where the gas station is at

We can always move the date around, but I think I am going to go either way since I already aranged baby sitting with the in-laws

I am in for sure. I'll be bringing the Passat. I'm crossing my fingers for a mid to high 14's pass.

Sorry to tell you this Nickle, but Test-n-Tune days are only on Wednesday Nights at Bandimere and are for everyone who passes a basic car saftey inspection.

You can also go to there bracket racing events (Quaker State E.T. Series) which are held on fridays nights twice a month for all cars. Thats pretty fun also.

That would be sweet time range!

Best time I got out of my 2001 S4 (all stock) was a 14.891, but I like to say 14.8

It was my one and only perfect launch I ever got out of that car.

Graduation is May 19th. Anything after that date is free game. Anything before that date falls in line behind school.

I like bracket racing. I may not be fast, but I am typically very consistent.

I agree Josh! I am really hoping for something in that range. The current spec is 252HP and 303 TQ at the crank. the 100 Octane program SUPPOSEDLY should give me 271HP and 325TQ (flywheel of course). Problem is that it's a chicktronic FWD car and even the Eagle F1's just spin like crazy. Not sure how I can get it to lock up well and if it does I'm worried about taking my tranny home in a pail.
common concensus is that 2.0T was underrated by the factory to begin with so who knows. Maybe I'll blaze through at a whopping 17!

LMAO! Well, I tipped them this a.m. @ 205. Looking for a driver around 85 lbs. Will install a booster seat and pedal extensions.

You will have to walk down to the line and say hi to us when you get there if you come.

Another cool thing about test-n-tune days is it is pretty much a car show when you walk down the line. Some times there are even jet cars there getting certified.

215 ain't skinny. then again, neither is the 4400lb allroad. Maybe I should just bring the bike so I can get in some 11 second runs.

I was wondering if everyone would like to stop and group up on the upper parking lot around 6:00 pm that way you should have got a couple or more runs in. Then we can chat for a few and then go back in line as a group. If you want to do it earlier we could group up at 5:00 pm.

Am I the only Audi? You guys will take care of me right, it's my first time to a dragstrip and the lights/launch is a bit intimidating. :-)
