mine are on...hehe, but my summer wheels are on my summer car

If I was switching...I would have them on already.  April is usually when I switched.

I pick up my OZs from Autoworks Colorado this Thursday.  Got four new Kumho SPTs put on 'em.  I'll probably put 'em on in a week or two.

The year I bought the BBS wheels, I couldn't wait and put them on in February. Miraculously I snuck by without getting into trouble. It has been pretty warm out there recently, but I do usually wait till mid April to do the switch.

It was March 15, 2003, at Chas' house....I put on my 17" Borbet Type S wheels with Bridgestone Potenzas.  2 days later the blizzard of 2003 hit. I had to abandon my Passat in a parking lot for the week.

It's best to wait until April, probably mid April. Don't forget we always get one last hurrah in April, usually a small one, but enough to cause Summer rubber riders to end up in ditches.

I normally don't put mine on until mid-April.  I drive in the mountains enough to be concerned about snow until then...maybe even May.

tax day has always been a good marker for summer tires, depending on the outlook, sometimes the first of May...which is when I also start up the sprinkler system :)

I usually coordinate it with my spring detailing (April).
That way I could thoroughly clean and wax both set of wheels when it's off the car.

In New England I'd wait till the 1st week in May.  Out here I usually do the middle of April.

I just bought a new set Dunlop Sport Maxx for my summer wheels, but I'll wait until the end of the ski season to install them. My Azenis are totally gone, and when I say "totally" I mean 0 mm thread left.
By the way Tire Rack now has a $100 rebate on Dunlop Sport Maxx in case anyone is looking for new tires.
