Someone is keeping their new car under wraps.....

I am not going to say who, and I am not going to say what, but a member here is not sharing with the group!

You have a great new car and you should let everyone here know about it!  A car like that should be flaunted, not hidden :D

I bought a sandwich at chik-fil-a the other day, but I ate it, so there was nothing to share.

I plan on using an airplane ticket tomorrow that was purchased about three weeks ago.  Does that count?

under wraps?
I did had a wrap two days ago, wasn't chicken.
There was ham, cheese, roasted garlic and red peppers.
That's my wrap.  It wasn't a big wrap so I ate the whole thing.

Thanks Randy the car def. feels much faster with that chip on there. Andrew, I put it up under an eighteen wheeler on I-70 last Wednesday. I was over there by lakeside where the road curves and goes up hill. Once I got over the hill and still on the curve I saw that trafic was stopped and I slammed on the breaks. I went under the side of the trailer that he was pulling, both of us were moving, and I got out from under before the rear tires went up and over the car. The whole passenger side was smashed in and the roof came down and in on the passenger side. I just got word that the insurance company is going to claim it totaled.  :( . I guess the good news is that I got an S4 and that I am still breathing.

Holy crap, I'm so glad to hear you not just made it out but that you're still alive and walking around!

Are you going to be able to salvage anything from the VRT or has the insurance company swept everything up?

Congratulations for sure on the new car, though I will miss your GTI I'm absolutely certain the S4 will bring many, many smiles to your face.

OMG!  glad to hear you got out of that OK.  Too bad about the VRT, but at least you have a nice replacement!

As soon as it hits Pull-N-Save, I am going to go get the VRT and make one heck of a go-cart out of it.

Glad to know the chip is treating you right Greg.  Just wait, it only gets better with an S4!

Thanks guys, I got damn lucky. The car is now in the insurance's hand, not sure where at, but I did get the turbo and the stereo out of the car. The S4 is Silver. Randy, I think that we may need to do something with the timing on the car, cause it seems to have some lag once you shift into the next gear if you are getting on it. Other than that it feels super fast. I found a road that had lots of curves on it near my house and the car kept getting to around 90-100 before I even knew it. I can't imagine that car with K04's, it has to be insane.

I'm sure he was talking KPH, not MPH on a road where the speed limit was 65MPH.  :D

What type of conector is it? Will I have to change the factory deck out?

No changing of the factory deck at all.  I believe this is the link to the exact product, I briefly looked at it today just to make sure it would fit a 2000 Audi:

http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Metra-Volkswagen-compatible-iPod-Adapter-VWIP01-/sem/rpsm/oid/119810/catOid/-15887/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do

Hopefully you have a single din deck, if you do then it'll be about $105 without taxes.  If not then my guy will work with you to find something that works unless you want to go elsewhere.  Find me tomorrow to discuss further.

The deck is not a single din, and that cable is not for the video i-pod. Thanks for looking though, I think that I will just get the one that Dice makes.
