This thread is a little late. Who's going and what day? I'm probably not gonna do both days.

We need to do a "Rusty and Jay Birthday GTG!"

JR - thanks, but how 'bout I just pick them up when I get there?  I won't be showing the car.  I have a rather large "using the cell phone while driving" ding, which I am not motivated to spend money to fix yet.  Which is a shame, because the car is otherwise incredibly showable.  I finally got 17's!!! And I'm in the middle of a sh*tload of other mods: Major Overhaul In Progress

Are we going to try and park all in the relative same area?  Our own little sub-show ... the RMCB5DATR

Rusty -

In talking with Scott 9one of the organizers) he said there is a caravan rolling up from AZ led by Eurojet racing. I guess there is a thread or two in the Southwest Regional forum on vwvortex. Might be cool to meet up with those guys and roll up.  Not sure if they would be abel to keep up with you though. ;)

Sounds good dude! I look forward to seeing you again. My old car might be there. She hasn't yet joined the club.

I'm definitely going, driving my bug.  I decided to go to this show rather than my 20 year high school reunion in Florida.  Hell I don't keep in touch with anyone from HS anyways.

man...

I really want to apoligze for negelecting you fellers... I have been out of my mind busy lately, and RMCB5 kinda fell off my normal forum rotation. I have been posting and trying to keep up with roughly 45 other forums all over the country answering questions about the show and fielding a TRUCKLOAD of PM's too.

I am glad you guys started talking about it on your own... I knew this was where all the smart guys hung out, but this prives it beyond a doubt!

Anyway... I just want to remind everyone that we are BEGGING you to pre-register this year! The parking is going to be quite a bit different from previous years, and in order to make it go smoothly we need your help.

In case you were not aware, RMCB5 is sponsoring the B5 trophy for the show too! I am also going to offer you guys one of the following remaining classes... you tell me which one you want and I will make it happen:

Audi A4 B5
Audi A4/S4 B6
Audi A4/S4 B7
Audi TT
Cabrio
Other Audi
New Beetle
Touareg
Watercooled Porsche (not likely to have any entries)

Yeah the B5 A4 class makes lots of sense to me... by the way, the B6 class should not have been on that list, that is taken by AWE Tuning.

As an FYI, registration closes June 20th and they will not be accepting walk ups (except for maybe a couple).

So please register early!

actually... I might need a few experienced autocrossers to flog some new cars... courtesy of Team VW. I am requiring at least 2 years of autcorssing seat time (more than 6 races per season) and I must approve you.

I need 3 or 4 guys to do this... who wants it?

Ian, you are on the alternate list because you already signed up to race. I cannot really allow someone who is racing to get "extra" runs until theiy are done racing, and I cannot determine the run order just yet either!

Jack, are you up for it?
