Being from the NY area I know my bagels, so I know exactly how you feel! I've actually given up eating bagels since moving 'cause none of what's available out here can really measure up...Yeah I'm a bagelsnob! :lol:
My dad, FUNNY guy that he is...will sometimes mail me a package with nice big NY bagels in it. Unfortunately he sets them up on his window sill for about a week to harden before he sends them...so they are as solid as a brick by the time they arrive!!! I'm just like "Ohh bagels...wait what the??? SONOVABTCH!!!!" :x :lol:
As far as frozens go, Lenders usually makes a pretty ok bagel...but multigrain? YUCK!
