Question:  How strict is the VW / Audi rule?  How about other German autos?

Considering a couple of Minis and a BMW are showing up, I'm sure anything you want to bring will be fine.

What about an extra helmet for a possible passenger/spectator?  I might be in Pueblo for business that day and would love to swing by and take a lap or two.

Rob, it'd be great to have you out there!  It's been too long.  But sorry, I don't have a helmet for you.

I will have extra helmets, both open face, one medium (SA2000) and one small (M2000 - at least I think it's small).  I can also lend out my closed face medium (SA2005) when I'm not on course.

I have a spare helmet if somone wants to borrow it.  problem is that I am not going to pueblo (stupid work).  so if you want it you have to drive up to brighton to pick it up before Friday.  I have both a full face Shoei L and Shoei XS.

I also have 3 helmets for use...but you will need to drive to Parker to pick them up.  I think they are all larges.  Shoei, Bell, and HJC.

you got PM.  I'll try to work in the office in the morning, then after I meet 03Indigo for lunch, I'll head home to work from there in the afternoon, so should be around by mid afternoon if you want to swing by.

I'll be there - tires came in and are being mounted right now!

I doubt if they will have race gas at the site. When they have it it is because the local distributor of VR fuels comes to the track and sells it out of 50 gallon drums.

They don't have race gas at the track. I'd say either fill up with 100 from the tech center and top off with 91 down there or add some Toulene if you want the octane boost.

EDIT: Well, just posted over on the vortex Ian said there may be a fellow out there selling higher octane fuel, but you should commit to buying from him on the tread on the vortex since he won't come unless he's guaranteed some sales.

Pat and I are planning on meeting at the Krispy Kream on C470 and Quebec and leaving at 6am, for those that wish to join us.

Andrew - I forgot your number at home when I left the house this morning.  Sorry to leave you hanging.  The boss has a 6am meeting in Brighton and now I have to swing up to Longmont so I won't be able to make it.  I'd be happy to compensate you for your time.  Again I'm really sorry if that messed up your day.

didn't mess up my day at all.  gave me a good excuse to work from home in the afternoon (which I like).  mostly wanted to be sure I didn't miss you if you still wanted the helmet.  at this point, if you still want it, I can bring it to the coffee meet in Westminster early in the AM.

Andrew I appreciate your offer but work calls me in another direction.  I'll make it to a coffee/beer GTG soon and buy you a beverage for your efforts.

Thanks again
