I think most folks have gone with teh Honda S2000 antenna. There may be a slight loss of reception, I know witht he S2000 antenna there was some loss.

Tehy obviously claim reception is the same, my guess is that is probably pretty true. Even if htere is some loss I doubt it is significant.

I am running the honda S2000 one.  I don't notice any difference in reception around town with it.

I like that Antenna. I rocked the S2000- but with any shorter antenna you should except some sort of signal degredation-specifically with FM

I had this antenna from Enfig which was a better fit than the S2000. Reception seemed to be the same but I don't really listen to the radio so it didn't matter much.

I first had the S2000 then "upgraded" to a TT and now I just ordered a sharkfin antenna since I want to give my car a more updated look.  Never had a problem with reception with the S2000 or the TT antenna.

The S2000 antenna is kind of pricey.

Like Gietl said....they are not pricey at all.  Here is a link to other options, and a short s2000 look alike NEW goes for $8.99.

The S2000 seems to be the choice between the different platforms.

I kinda like the long whip.  It makes the GTI look like an oversized RC car.
If it ain't broke, take it apart and fix it!
