I gave up on it after sucking it up so bad my first race.  Plus I had an assload of credits to burn up.

sounds like you guys had a great time, too bad I had to skip out.

The wine tasting was fun -- it wasn't as big as I thought it would be, there were four tables with three different kinds of wine for at each table.  The wine reps left a little early we all helped ourselves to very generous pours later on!
Me and my roommate got pretty drunk (we must have "sampled" each wines at least twice) -- I don't even remember how I got home!!!

Ah, and I have my office holiday party tonight, and friends from out of town coming over tomorrow night -- Me and my liver will be hurting big time!

maybe we should do a wine tasting GTG sometime soon, possibly at my place next month.

Scott and I would love that, too, Alan.  He actually could get us some nice wines at a discount, as well (works 2nd job part time at a liquor store).  Keep us informed!
