We'll probably be signing up here soon at the one by our house. I wanted to put it out in case anybody is already there and gets deals on referrals.

My wife and I have a membership with 24hr for almost 8 years now.  I would recommend them, as they have a number of locations in the Denver area and if you get an all club menbership you never have to worry if you are out-of-town and want to work out.

The only downside I have found is that their up-front fees can be pretty hefty.  I paid like $350 in upfront fees, but I also got the unrestrcited all club memebership and my monthly dues are locked at $20 for life.  My dues can't go up because the contract I signed 8 years ago did not have a clause saying they culd raise them, the newer contracts have clause for like 5% increase per year if they choose to.

BTW which one is closest to you house?  When I actually get off the coach and go these days it's to the one off Hampden east of I25.

Accoding to the sign at the 24hour I go to "refer 25 friends and get..." some sort of gym bag or something small and silly.  :P

Lame- yeah, online, it's like $38/mo. with $80 in upfront fees if you want to download the "no initiation fee" coupon...I may stop by and see what their options are. I HATE contracts though. :P

no thanks, I don't like to exercise for 24 hours, let alone 24 seconds.

DAMN! They're spendy...I felt like was at a car dealership- he was scratching numbers on a peice of paper and everything. I fully expected him to scratch an X, slash a line, put up a number and have me sign!  :x

JR - Christy and I signed up there last year and did like Kev B. We signed a "lifetime" all club membership. I think it was around 950 per person for three years and less then 50 bucks a year after that.  We go to the one in Lowry.

I'll check for any deals when I go in tomorrow morning.

I can't drop that kind of coin at this point. But that is probably the way I want to go...oh well. It's more tough anyway to run outside in the winter

I was pleasantly suprised with the one by my house- pool, hot tub, saunas and a ballers playground.
