Going to be Wrenching on an 87 911 Turbo Widebody
« on: January 19, 2007, 01:40:09 PM »
I am going to visit my family in Hotlanta in a couple of weeks and will be helping my buddy replace his suspension on his 450HP fire-breathing 87 911 Turbo.

I know Andy/34K might have some pointers for me, but I wanted to put this out there regarding any gotchas that I should look out for when working with the suspension on this car.  We'll just be doing shocks to replace the worn out ones.

Thanks guys and "wassup?!"

Winston! whats up man. How is the Landcruser?

I cant really offer help on the 911, but I do have one pointer. Bring your camera

Hey Greg, the LC is good.  I am going to try and tackle a couple rust spots tomorrow and keep the salty road cancer from taking her at an early age (21 this year).

Not too bad, but we'll see how the body work skills are.

I will definitely be snapping some 911 pics when I am there.  I can't wait.  I love my buddies car.  I drooled over it ever since they came out.
