No, actually I like the title of "Member." It has a funny sound to it. Go ahead and say it out loud to yourself. Member... MEMber... MEMEBER...

FYI-
SupremePowerParts.com is selling their electric fan kit for $140 (group buy).  They normally sell for $225.  Mine will be here next week.  Just ordered all my other stuff from ECS.  BTW, I got a gallon of antifreeze, as some will leak out when we do water pumps.  I have enough for my car and one other.  I bought one gallon of it to mix 50/50 with distilled water.

I was thinking about the snub mount as well, however, I think if I bought one more item for my car, my wife will divorce me and everything is in her name...I don't want her to leave so I'm not going to do the snub mount (unless someone orders me one and I pay for it at the GTG 8O ).

I will also have at least a gallon of Antifreeze as well. (My Mazda leaky leakies everywhere)

JR, I was thinking about getting one too, but I can't justify it either.  It's a quick install since you are already in there, but I'll do it later.

LOL! I just noticed that Chas changed his avatar.  I love that picture.

Jay, what is the new Star scheme?  Are there levels to attain?

I'm not real sure why I suddenly thought that I needed to speak up over there. I guess I got into a mood.  Yeah, I'll be breaking 3K there real soon. The only thing is that I've been a member there since August of 1999. I was one of the first 100 members to that place. And that site had three different crashes. My real post count should be well over 7000 or so. But hey, who's counting? And by me calling JR a post whore, I did that tongue in cheek. Knowing all too well that I am a post whore as well. Not to the same standard as Jon, but I can dream can't I?

Oh, and I too love that picture with Adam's legs sticking out the sun roof. Mark (FastLane) was giving me shit with that picture earlier today. I love it! :P

Hopefully, this GTG is still an option for those who just want to see how it's done.  If so, I still plan on coming.

I think that's pretty much what I'll be there for.

Are there any weekend-warrior mods that are "cheap" that can be done that I should get materials for?  Already did the debadging and the Alian Mod install.  What else?

Boost gauge is a probably a two-hour thing for a first-timer.  Maybe clear corners?

You could do a boost gauge for $40 installed.  Aside from that, I'm not sure what you could do that's cheaper.  Maybe recode windows/door locks with the VAG-COM for one-touch up and down or lock/unlock?  Totally depends how you want your stuff to work.
Or, you could do everyone's all-time favorite- the "Get everyone a sandwich from Taste of Philly" mod. =D

There is something I need to have someone look at.  Ever since I did the Alian Remote Window mod when I pull my driver side window button all the way up it sticks.  Shoul;d be simple to fix but someone might have a better solution than I might have.

Hey Spencer,

Here a re a few options for cheap mods:

1. Audi 710N Diverter valve (aka bypass valve) $30
2. B5.5's don't have clear corners, but we could tint your tails and/or bumper reflectors.
3. Rear Foglight mod.  This is just the price of some wires and a bulb.
4. Pat's headliner mod
5. A Taste of Philly mod

Also, for those that don't know where I live, here is my address:

Winston Price
7389 S. Eudora Ct.
Centennial, CO 80122
720-488-0004

Be sure and bring something to drink and some cash for A Taste of Philly for lunch and bring any tools you have that you may need.  See ya soon!
