haha...I hear ya. Of course my UV sits in front of my house because I can't drive it. I am hell bent on starting it this weekend though! I will try to drive it, I might just have to sit at the edge of the seat to get it into reverse since I can't reach that far.

Suburban Ussult Vehicle

That's what I use mine as- hit the fat, over-paid, under-worked, grossly consumeristic, highlands ranch dwelling house-wives and their greedy, selfish husbands.  :P  8O

Yeah, I was pretty happy having that 10" of ground clearance.   I towed a lot of people out of the snow.

Supposedly it is supposed to be like this all winter, lots of big snow storms... personally I think they're just being hopeful.

Right now I'm pretty happy about getting mine, I don't need to stress out anymore about trying to get out of my apartment complex and hoping each time the  GTI bottomed out the oil pan stayed intacked.

But I'm sure I'll miss it once the weather and roads clear up.

Yeah the Murano has held its own especially with clearance issues.  Denver blows when it comes to side street clearing.  We still have 8" ice ruts on our streets.  Thats where the Eurovan with the Hakkas does well too.

My lowered Passat would have scraped the bottom off.

other than for 1-2 days i have not had many issues getting around with the A4 or in the Golf. The new snow tires on the Golf really made a difference in regards to the traction on the ice/hardpack.
