Doing a little searchy search I came across this, just remember, no Audi's allowed, but Porsche's sometimes are for some reason:

haha, yeah we had a big stink over it a few years ago. They used to allow Audi's then they became forbidden in 2004. They made a big deal that it was VW's only and nothing else, yet they allowed at least a handful of P-cars in the show. I made a comment about that and was told to f-off for the most part. :)

It used to be a GREAT show, now it is pretty mediocre, but I still recommend showing at it. Good start to the season and it is a long running show and there are always nice cars there, especially the air heads.

We may show the Passat, we haven't determined that yet or not.

let the bashing begin!
I agree it used to be a well run, classy and impressive event -- but the last couple year it was not that much different than those monthly GTGs at the D&B.  It was also attracting the wrong kind of cars and people.

No Audi's?  Well then, not for me.  I fail to see what the elitist attitudes at car shows are all about.  Esp if they let some P-cars in...

Last time I checked it was the VAG (VW-Audi) group...

Well I went for a little bit, not very long. Long enough to see all the cars. I tried taking pictures but was only really able to take about three. I will post them up later. I had the dog with me and he was a little antsy with all the people. So it was hard to try and take a picture and make sure he wasn't trying to lick someone to death.

Seemed like a decent turn out. Far smaller than I have ever seen a VWOTG so that was a little sad. Lots of the same cars as usual, but some that I haven't seen.

Of course it is really great to check out the really well done Air Cooled cars. And boy were there some nice ones.

Looked like everyone there was having a good times, lots of smiles on faces. Kind of hard not to smile when it is so nice out.

I was there around noon and stayed long enough to walk through everything thing about twice.  Yes it was a small show and everything was crammed into a small parking lot, but I thought it was better than previous years as there were more vintage VWs and hardly any ricers there.
Finding parking was a pain in the ass as there were other things going on at the park.

VWOTG when it was actually on a green was the best show I've been too, let's hope someday it will return to its former glory.

I agree Alan, I did failt o mention parking was a bear. I did two laps of both lots before I got a spot. I was literally about to give up when one opened up.

I recall in the past always seeing the same WC and AC cars at VWOTG, this year, the AC selection was very good. Lots of new cars (to me at least). The WC were pretty much the same stuff, some nice MKIIs. A very nice Blue R32 from AZ.
