Summer Wheel Changin'
« on: April 06, 2007, 01:51:53 PM »
So I was hoping to switch to my Summer wheels this weekend. I know Sunday is the only nice day and coincidentally is Easter. I have a dilemma however, I can't physically do the work. I can do some of it, but I don't know id I can do the lugs or even jack the car. I haven't tried.

My other issue is I loaned out my air compressor so I can't even cheat. :(

Maybe it's a sign I should just wait? Is there anyone out there that could give me a hand?

I had Discount tire swap mine 2 weeks ago...and it "only" cost me a small chip in the paint   I know, I know I shouldn't have gone there but it I was being impatient as usual...

Anyway I think I am free on Sunday so I can lend a hand too...

Ian, Sunday morning, like late morning would probably be perfect for me if that works for you? We do have some afternoon commitments with family to do some birthday and easter celebrations.

Let me know if that will work okay for you.

I was just planning on taking my ride to Discount too, but if we are going to do a GTG I am up for getting together on Sunday afternoon to do some swapping!

Works just fine for me - let me know what time is best   If we want to have a more formal G2G to swap, everyone's welcome.

Ian, lets scratch this plan for tomorrow. I really want to get it done, but I think waiting a week is not going to kill me. I;d rather do it on a nice warm day when we can hang out and not be freezing while doing it.

I know the detail day is next weekend so maybe after that I'll do it. I can't say the car is worthy in it's current state.

I was hoping this crap would blow out of here sooner.

Yah, me too.  I've got no heat in the 40, therefor no defrost, so driving home from Hardy's the afternoon was frustrating to say the least.
