Has anyone repaired torn leather in their VW?
« on: May 03, 2007, 01:12:38 PM »
We have a scratch in one of our leather seats and I was thinking of trying to repair it.  There are lots of products that claim they repair leather to "as new" condition.  Has anyone tried any of these products?  And if so, can you provide feedback on its use and effectiveness?

Thanx!

It was, looking at their registered email they are a spammer, so I doubt they will respond. I should just ban them.

Our dogs chewed on one of the leather seats in our GTI.  We took the car to a detailer and they fixed it. Looked near perfect. Have not tryied it myself. Just know it can be done.

Some local guys just suggested this place:

http://www.colorplus.com/index.html

They have a filler material and dye kits.  I was thinking of trying to redye the seats and wheel in my 928, they are a bit faded and worn in spots.
